Her 19th Birthday

Yesterday my youngest had her 19th Birthday. And boy did we have fun... you may be wondering why the cake says 20-1. I'll just let you figure that one out. It was her idea.
And in true fashion... we ate cake before dinner. If anyone knows Daughter #2, she loves her sweets.
Then we headed out to Macaroni Grill and on to the Mall.

But the best part of the night was the Grand Ole Opry. We went to see it preformed in downtown Nashville.

What a special night. I had no idea that the Opry is still listened to on the radio every Friday and Saturday night. So it was a live show with commercials and sponsors. It was really neat to see a live show.
Jimmy Wayne was the first performer and boy could he sing.
You can tell we don't get out much because the lighting was really beautiful and here Daughter #2 couldn't help pleasing her artistic side.
Here is Vince Gill singing Bluegrass music with the Del McCoury Band.
We also heard Jean Shepard, Bill Anderson, Riders In The Sky, Joe Diffie, Jimmy Dickens, Collin Raye and the Willis Clan which were an amazing family with 12 children and they all played instruments, Celtic danced and all the boys are State Champion Wrestlers.

What a night and we enjoyed it so much.

I just love living by Music City,
Java Girl
